Mike Barnes is a former KVUE Sportscaster.  He was named "Best in Austin" 16 times, including the last 10 years in a row.

He covered 24 Texas-OU games, 12 bowl games, 5 Final Fours and 9 College World Series during his 29 years on the air in Austin.

Mike and his wife Kim have a divided family, with their son Brandon being an A&M graduate and their daughter Taylor at student at UT.
